CHRISTIAN POETRY

Jesus' Plea For Humanity
More Secure Is No One Ever
Just One Step at a Time
I Need Thee Every Hour
Nothing Between
A Student's Prayer
Immortal, Invisible
When All Thy Mercies
Once For All
Ye Must Be Born Again
Do Not Grieve
Nearer
And Then Eternity
While It Is Day
Not In Vain
I Must Go
Who Teacheth Like Him?
Co-Workers With God
What Wilt Thou Have Me To Do?
Why Do You Wait
If Ever There Was A Day
My Faith Looks Up To Thee
More Holiness Give Me
Softly Now the Light of Day
Ivory Palaces
Green Hill Far Away
His Promise
Savior, Like a Shepherd Lead Us
Jesus Never Fails
In The Hour Of Trial
I Gave My Life For Thee
Is Your All On The Alter
I Am Resolved
An Hymn To The Evening
Isaiah 63:1-8
Africa to America

FEATURED POEM

His Promise

I've seen the lightning flashing and heard the thunder roll, I've felt sin's breakers dashing, which tried to conquer my soul; I've heard the voice of my Savior, He bid me still fight on- He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone.

The world's fierce winds are blowing- temptation's sharp and keen; I have a peace in knowing my Savior stands between; He stands to shield me from danger, when all my friends are gone- He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone.

When in affliction's valley I tread the road of care, My Savior helps me carry the cross so heavy to bear; Tho all around me is darkness and earthly joys are flown, My Savior whispers His promise- never to leave me alone.

He died on Calvary's mountain, for me they pierced His side, For me He opened that fountain, the crimson, cleansing tide; For me He's waiting in glory upon His heavenly throne- He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone.
